Abstract: | This scientific trial aimed to study and evaluate the socioeconomic impacts resulting from the implementation of MOZAL, on populations resettled in the Neighborhood of Djuba, Administrative Post of Matola Rio-Sede, District of Boane; The methodology used was exploratory, descriptive and explanatory, comprising the following stages: Phase 1: Bibliographical Research: Phase 2: Included field work, which included the collection of relevant information in institutions, Mozal and the community itself resettled in Djuba. Phase 3: Preparation and Presentation of the Investigation Report. In the last chapter, bibliographic sources were illustrated, highlighting that the exercise of bibliographic reading was continuous, until the end of this research work; As a result of the research, from the sampling of 19 families surveyed, 6.30% of the families explore the farms located in Mavoco which are 11km from Djuba, 12.5% explore the farms of Matchume and Tchonissa which are 10km from Djuba and 68 80% of families that make temporary farms in the Mozal concession area, which is 7km away from the resettlement village; The main social facilities, namely the health center, retail market, the police station and the farms that are the main source of survival, are far from the resettlement village. About 7km. As for the Conclusions, it was found that, given these factors, the level of unemployment is high and contributes to the low quality of life of families, despite the fact that they are living in houses built with conventional materials, including the existence of technical infrastructures for electricity and water supply |
